See what I mean? What's not to love? I've been smitten by Esther for some time now, and isn't it just nuts that she spends more time behind the camera than in front of it?!

I told you back in January, when we began these monthly style posts, that I approached Esther because I wanted some "pretty" pictures here on the PRETTYblog. I knew her work, so I knew the monthly photos would be perfect for the blog and me. However, these monthly style posts have turned into so much more. They've been a way to share & remember the progression of my third and final pregnancy. They've been much needed inspiration & motivation to dress and accessorize to my full potential daily; during a year that I wouldn't have otherwise felt up for it. They've been a way to share & model Pretty by JL accessories, and again to inspire and motivate the creativity behind new pieces. They've been a way to share the incredible work & talent of a local photographer- Esther Zieske of E. Lee Photography.

So this month we turned the camera on Esther. I couldn't stand talking so much about her and not introducing her and her style to you. Esther, on the other hand, was content without being introduced in such a way, as she is very modest. However, she agreed and was a fantastic and willing sport.

Esther is one of the most kind and calm people I know. If she worries, or stresses, or feels wouldn't know it. She keeps an utterly cool demeanor. She's from Montana, spent a big chunk of her childhood in Uruguay, and lives here in Bayfield. She's got ten brothers and sisters, yes ten, and is the mother to two of the cutest boys you'll ever meet. Esther is an incredible wife, mother, sister, and friend. She's the sort of person that it just feels good to be around. Maybe that's why she's such a fantastic photographer, her subjects feel completely at ease.

Although I'm extremely happy with how these photos of Esther turned out, I will not be calling myself a photographer, um, ever. It's not easy. I seem to have an okay eye for composition, but then again I've also been working with Esther for the better part of a year now. The fancy camera I shot with was hers, and the photo processing software used on the photos is hers, too. However, it was wildly fun to look at the pretty that is Esther through the view finder, and to freeze some of it in time forever.

On that note, I want to ask you something. If we turned the camera on YOU, what would you wear? Not sure? Well, I'd like you to start thinking about it. Esther and I are putting together an absolutely lovely Mama's mySTYLE Giveaway. There will be more details in next month's post, so be sure to subscribe to receive posts by email. I'd hate for you to miss it! You can subscribe to receive posts via email from the PRETTYblog by clicking here

Before I let you go, I'd also like to bring special attention to Esther's headband. Before Esther, there was no Pretty by JL headband. She wanted one, so I worked on it until I came up with one we liked. How's that for style?! I've created a listing for it in the Etsy shop. So, Esther's headband is now available for customization. You can check it out here

I hope you're soaking up all there is to soak up of fall!! Only three more style posts to come this year and we'll be smack dab in the middle of winter, sheesh!!!

Love ya!
